Marbella’s beach clubs are not interchangeable. Some centre the day on a pool and reserved bed, others are mainly beachfront restaurants, and access rules can change for special events. This 2026 guide organises current options by area and the kind of day they offer, using official venue and Marbella Tourism information.
This is an editorial comparison, not a ranking. No claim is made that one venue has better food, service or atmosphere than another. Prices are omitted because bed packages, credits and minimum spends change by date and booking type. Use the official booking page for the day you plan to visit.
Quick comparison
| Area | Venue | Choose it when you want | Check before booking |

Marbella centre: a beach day near the Old Town
Amàre Marbella
Amàre sits on the central seafront, within walking distance of Marbella’s historic centre. Its current site sells pool and beach day passes, with part of the reservation value used as food-and-drink credit in the booked area. The hotel’s FAQ describes Amàre Marbella as adults only.
This option suits a visitor who wants to combine a beach or pool booking with the centre rather than travel to Puerto Banús or East Marbella. Before paying, confirm the minimum age, whether the booking is for pool or beach, the arrival deadline and the current cancellation policy.
Golden Mile: resort beach clubs and long lunches
Marbella Club Beach Club
Marbella Club’s Beach Club combines a restaurant, bar and poolside setting on the Golden Mile. Its official page currently lists bar service from 11:00 to 20:00, an à la carte lunch from Monday to Saturday and a Sunday buffet from 13:00 to 16:30. The hotel FAQ says sun loungers at its pools and pool-adjacent areas are complimentary for hotel guests.
A restaurant reservation and a hotel-guest sunbed entitlement are different products. Non-residents should confirm what a lunch booking includes, whether any day bed can be booked separately and whether the Sunday buffet has a separate reservation requirement.
Chambao Marbella
Puente Romano describes Chambao as a beach and pool club on the Golden Mile, around five minutes from the main resort. The current page lists daily opening with a defined lunch-service window and a last reservation before evening drinks and desserts.
This is primarily useful for travellers choosing a structured beachfront lunch rather than a late-night event. Check the live hours for the chosen date and ask whether a table, pool bed and beach access are booked separately.
Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía: pool-led clubs
La Sala by the Sea
La Sala by the Sea offers pool beds, beach beds and a restaurant close to Puerto Banús. Its FAQ says only guests with a bed booking may use the pool. It also explains that some Thursday-to-Sunday, bank-holiday and special-event bookings include prepaid food-and-drink credit, while other dates can be bed-only.
Families need to note a clear restriction: guests under 14 are welcome on beach beds and in the restaurant but are not allowed on pool beds or in the pool area. The booking should therefore match both the group ages and the part of the venue the group expects to use.
Ocean Club Marbella
Ocean Club’s official 2026 booking page lists prepaid bed packages around its pool. Its terms say the venue opens from 11:00 to 21:00 and that some premium bed categories carry an additional minimum spend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The bed price and food or drink can be separate.
The venue describes itself as family friendly and recommends weekdays for young children, but opening and closing parties are 18+. The booking terms also limit refunds, so read the current cancellation and credit-voucher wording before payment.
East Marbella and Elviria: beach, dining and programmed music
Nikki Beach Marbella
Nikki Beach Marbella is on the Elviria coast, with separate restaurant, pool and beach areas. Its current site lists daily operating hours of 12:00 to 19:00 during the 2026 season. The venue’s door policy says admission remains subject to management discretion and that some special events require a ticket or a different age policy.
The official 2026 programme currently includes “Amazing Sundays” every Sunday from 12:00 to 19:00, alongside weekday and Saturday formats. This is seasonal information, not an evergreen promise. Check the live happenings page immediately before travel and remove the Sunday detail from this guide when the season ends. Families should use the restaurant or beach policy and note that guaranteed pool access is for over-18s with the relevant reservation; selected events may be 21+.
How to choose without relying on a “best” list
Start with geography
Choose the area that fits the rest of the day. A central booking is practical with the Old Town, the Golden Mile is convenient for resort stays, Puerto Banús works with marina plans, and East Marbella is most practical for visitors staying around Elviria or Las Chapas. Travel time on the A-7 can vary, so leave margin for a fixed arrival deadline.
Decide whether the pool is essential
A restaurant table, beach bed and pool bed are often different reservations. If swimming in the pool is essential, obtain written confirmation that the selected package includes it. Public beach access does not automatically grant access to a private pool or the venue’s beds.
Compare the full booking terms
Look beyond the headline bed price. Check prepaid credit, minimum spend, maximum guests per bed, towel charges, arrival deadline, dress code, cancellation rights and the weather policy. Keep the confirmation email available on arrival.
Check age and event rules
Normal admission can change during an opening party, closing party or ticketed event. Ask about every guest’s age and the specific date. Parents can use Marbella Daily’s separate family-friendly Marbella beach-club guide for a fuller comparison of child and pool policies.
Marbella Tourism maintains a broader official directory of beach clubs for readers who want to check additional venues. A directory entry confirms that a venue is listed by the municipal tourism service; it is not an endorsement of food, service or value.
Last checked: August 2026. Opening periods, events, age policies and booking terms can change. Confirm directly before paying. This article is an editorial comparison, not a quality ranking. If any venue pays for inclusion or a link becomes an affiliate link, Marbella Daily must label that relationship clearly.
