Marbella Daily aims to provide useful, English-language local reporting for people who live in, visit or do business in Marbella.
Verification and sourcing
We check local claims, dates, addresses, prices, opening hours and legal or medical statements against primary or otherwise reliable sources where possible. Time-sensitive guides should show when they were published or last checked. Uncertainty and information that may change should be made clear.
Editorial review
New publication requires substantive content and editorial review. Accountable bylines and source links should be used where available. Automated tools can support research, production and distribution, but they do not replace verification or editorial responsibility.
Independence and commercial disclosure
Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships and paid listings must be clearly labelled. Advertisers may receive defined placements, but they cannot buy rankings, reviews or editorial conclusions. Payment does not prevent a factual correction.
Corrections and updates
We correct material errors and update articles when facts have changed. A verified public corrections contact route will be added before the separate Corrections Policy is published.
Personalisation and public-interest information
Reader preferences may tailor local story selection, but citywide critical alerts and other significant public-interest information are not suppressed by personalisation.
Archive material
Older archive material may come from earlier publishing workflows. Its presence does not mean that every archived claim has been recently rechecked. Current coverage should identify dates, sources and updates clearly.
