West Coast Rap Legend Xzibit to Perform at BKFC Event in Marbella
Fans of West Coast rap are in for a treat as Xzibit, one of the genre’s most prominent figures, is set to perform in Marbella on 12 October. Known for hits like Paparazzi, the rapper’s performance will be part of an evening hosted by BKFC, marking the first major bare-knuckle fighting event in Spain.
Details of the BKFC Event Revealed
The event’s promoters have shared more information about the evening, which will feature several fights, including three for world titles. Among these is a match between Argentinian Franco Tenaglia, who resides in Alicante, and New Yorker Juan Soto. Bare-knuckle boxing, where fighters compete without gloves, significantly increases the chances of a knockout, as no part of the opponent’s body is protected.
Conor McGregor at the Heart of the Event
The main attraction of the 12 October event at the Marbella Arena is Conor McGregor. The Irish MMA legend, who recently became a co-owner of BKFC, has helped elevate the promotion to new heights. His presence at the event’s launch on 18 July at the Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella drew a large crowd of fans and curious spectators.
Music Performances to Complement the Fights
In addition to Xzibit, the event will feature a range of musical performances. Artists such as Kodak, Dizzee Rascal, BeltersOnly, Ferreck Dawn, Offica, and Eskimo Supreme will entertain the crowd between fights. All these artists are part of Greenback Records, McGregor’s new music label, showcasing his ambition to venture further into the business world.
New Additions to the Line-up
As the event nears, several new names have been added to the 12 October line-up, including a number of Spanish fighters. One notable addition was Abner Lloveras, a Barcelona fighter with UFC and Bellator experience. However, he has been replaced by French fighter Maxime Bellamy, also known as ‘Orsu Corsu’.
Arrangements for the Upcoming Event
The fights are scheduled for 12 October, but BKFC will be in Marbella from 10 October. A press conference will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel on the same day, followed by the official weigh-in on 11 October. Conor McGregor is also expected to make an appearance during this period. Tickets for the event can be purchased through the BKFC website.
