Discover Marbella Feel the Excellence at Fitur to Unveil New Tourism Brand

Marbella will be attending the Madrid Tourism Fair (Fitur), from January 24 to 28, with a new promotional campaign “Feel the Excellence”. The campaign will be encapsulated in a two-minute video about the municipality. The soundtrack for the video is the song “Así es Marbella”, composed by Juan Delola and performed by Celia Flores. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz presented Marbella’s presence at Fitur, where the municipality will showcase its excellent offerings with a refreshed brand image. The goal, she explained, is to continue increasing the number of visitors and to consolidate the break from seasonality in the municipality. She also highlighted that the City Council will premiere a campaign at the event, based on the sensations of Marbella’s attractions and excellence.

New Promotional Video and Campaign

The campaign will feature a main video, a specific promotional video for San Pedro Alcántara, and a dozen thematic ‘shorts’ dedicated exclusively to the tourism segments where the city is a leader. The promotional video condenses in two minutes the countless plans that visitors can enjoy in the municipality. It also features the added value of the soundtrack, the song ‘Así es Marbella’, by local composer and guitarist Juan Delola, and performed by singer Celia Flores, daughter of the legendary Marisol.

The mayor indicated that the new tourism logo includes a distinctive ‘M’ that starts from “the mountain peaks of Sierra Blanca to end in the waves of the Mediterranean Sea and the possibility of playing with colors to identify the segment to promote”. She explained that green is for nature, sky blue for well-being, ochre tones for culture, and orange for gastronomy. “Our offer at this edition of Fitur will enhance the message of Marbella as a premium destination that advocates for excellence and the new corporate image explicitly refers to feeling that excellence at all levels”, she emphasized.

Marbella will have an exhibitor in the global pavilion of Andalusia, she said. The schedule starts on the 23rd with a cocktail, which will be held at Trocadero Commodore, “once again giving prominence to the local businessman, as in the previous edition that took place at Dani García’s restaurant in Madrid”. In addition to the informative sessions that will take place on the 24th and 25th to present the attractions of the town and some of the impactful tourist events that will take place throughout 2024, the renewed brand image will be unveiled.

The mayor mentioned that, pending the data for December, this year could be the one with the highest occupancy at the end of the year since records began. She also emphasized that “the stabilization of the British client, the continuous increase of the French visitor, the highest record of Germans compared to last year and the increase of tourists from the Netherlands, United States and Canada” stand out in terms of nationalities.
