Major Traffic Disruption on A-7 Near Marbella Due to Multiple Collision
A significant traffic disruption has occurred on the A-7 highway near Marbella this Friday afternoon, 2nd February. The Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT) roads authority has reported a multiple collision involving four vehicles at around 3.35pm.
Only Material Damage Reported, No Casualties
Sources from SUR have confirmed that the accident has only resulted in material damage to the vehicles involved. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported. However, the incident has had a significant impact on the traffic flow in the area.
Long Tailbacks Recorded, Heavy Traffic in Both Directions
The DGT has recorded a traffic tailback stretching from kilometre point 1028 to 1041, heading towards Malaga. Additionally, heavy traffic has been reported in both directions in San Pedro. Despite the congestion, traffic is still moving, albeit slowly.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in the area and to expect delays. The authorities are working to clear the accident site and restore normal traffic flow as soon as possible.
