Gunfire Erupts in Puerto Banus, Leaving One Injured
In a shocking incident last night, a gunman opened fire in Puerto Banus, a popular tourist destination. The terrifying event was captured on video and shared on the Instagram page Marbellasequeja. The footage shows a black car reversing towards the port’s entrance while a man is seen running at high speed on the opposite side of the road. As many as 15 gunshots can be heard in the background, accompanied by the screams of a man.
Victim Hospitalized Following Shooting Outside Shisha Bar
A 20-year-old man was rushed to the hospital following the shooting which took place outside a shisha bar at around 1.30am. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently being treated at the Hospital Clinico de Malaga. He underwent emergency surgery on his knee following the incident.
Witnesses Report Multiple Shots Fired Near Port Entrance
Eyewitnesses reported hearing around 15 shots fired outside a popular shisha bar near the main entrance to the port. A British tourist shared a video of the aftermath online, captioning it with a shocked reaction to the shooting.
Second Shooting Incident in Puerto Banus in Recent Days
This shocking attack comes on the heels of another shooting incident in Puerto Banus. The previous shooting took place near a roundabout close to the popular La Sala restaurant. In that incident, two men on a motorbike, wearing helmets, pulled up and opened fire at an unknown target.
