New Edition of “A Fondo” Roundtable Discussion
The latest edition of the television roundtable discussion “A Fondo” aired this Monday, continuing its weekly tradition. The show, broadcasted on local networks, provides information, analysis, and opinions on current events in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara. The main topic of discussion was the return of bullfighting. Other topics included the new beach ordinance and the controversy surrounding beach volleyball in Cable.
Collaborative Audiovisual Project
This audiovisual project was born in 2022 from a collaboration between two television stations, M95TV and 7TV, and digital platforms Marbella Hoy and Marbella24horas. The aim is to critically and courageously analyze the political, economic, social, and cultural news of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara every Monday. This week’s edition, moderated by Ignacio Reyes, features a panel of discussants including columnist José Manuel Beltrán, educator Francisco Gutiérrez, and journalists José Antonio Medina and Juan Carlos Angulo.
Debate Schedule and Availability
The debate will be available this Monday from 21:00 on 7TV and around 22:30 on M95TV. It can also be accessed via the Marbella24horas YouTube channel. The discussion will begin with a commendation for the National Police, who have already resolved four of the five shootings that caused concern in Marbella.
Return of Bullfighting and Beach Ordinance
Following this, the panel will analyze the return of bullfighting to Marbella and, notably, the absence of a public competition to award the bullring to a business group. The new beach ordinance being drafted by the City Council and some of its striking articles will also be discussed.
Francisco Gutiérrez’s New Section and Beach Volleyball Controversy
Francisco Gutiérrez will continue his new section, offering his perspective on street issues. To conclude, the panel will discuss the controversy surrounding beach volleyball in Cable, due to the government team’s intention to relocate the sport to El Pinillo.
