The Starlite festival in Marbella has set a new record this summer, welcoming over 362,000 visitors. This figure marks an increase of 80,000 compared to the attendance in 2019. The festival has become a major attraction for both locals and tourists, with nearly half of the concert-goers being foreigners. The average age of attendees was 39, indicating the festival’s wide appeal across different age groups.

According to calculations by international auditors Price Waterhouse Cooper, the Starlite Festival has made a significant contribution to Spain’s GDP. The festival has added €315.5 million to the country’s economy this year alone. Since its inception a decade ago, the festival has generated a staggering €1.44 billion in total.

The Starlite Festival has not only been a hit domestically but has also attracted a global audience. Over the past ten years, more than 1.7 million people from 95 different countries have attended the concerts and events organised by Starlite. This international appeal has played a crucial role in boosting the festival’s popularity and success.
