Triathlon Marbella Women’s Team Continues to Shine
The women’s team of Serman Triathlon Marbella, which recently won silver at the Spanish Duathlon Championship, has confirmed their excellent form by winning bronze at the Spanish Triathlon Team Championship in the Talent category, held this weekend in Águilas. The town of Águilas was the epicenter of national triathlon last weekend, with more than 3110 participants from 103 teams across Spain competing in various events.
Impressive Performance Despite Challenges
The women’s team, consisting of África García, Agatha Andrade, Blanca Berlanga, Charlotte Houzelle, and Paula Toro, completed the circuit in an impressive time of 23:54, just 32 seconds behind the first-place team from Valencia, C.E.A. Betera, followed by the silver medalists from Club Triathlon Albacete Res. This result not only demonstrates their skill and preparation but also their ability to overcome significant obstacles, such as the lack of adequate training facilities.
Men’s Team Also Shows Strong Performance
On the other hand, the men’s team from Serman Triathlon Marbella also had a notable performance, finishing in tenth place in the Open Talent category with a time of 21:16. This collective effort places the club among the top ten Spanish teams in this category.

On Sunday, the competitions continued with the Spanish Triathlon Relay Championships. The women’s team nearly reached the podium again, securing a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:05:46, while the men’s team fought to finish in eighth place with a time of 57:11.

With these achievements, Serman Triathlon Marbella not only celebrates their recent victories but also eagerly prepares for future challenges, including the upcoming Spanish Duathlon Cross, Triathlon Cross, and Aquathlon Cross Championships, which will take place in Almazán on July 13 and 14.
