Young Creative Talents Showcase Retains Four Categories
The Marbella City Council has opened the registration period for the 13th Young Creative Talents Showcase. The competition, which runs from this Monday until May 22, merges the categories into four and raises the age limit from 25 to 30 years for participation. The first prize is endowed with 1,000 euros.
Alejandro González Presents Initiative
Councilor Alejandro González has introduced an initiative that, as he pointed out, is fully consolidated and has allowed many residents of Marbella to currently have a professional career even at the national level. He also emphasized that they want the ideas and cultural projects of this group to be known and to enhance their expression in different disciplines.
Changes in This Edition
Among the novelties of this edition, the increase in the age limit stands out, which will be from 14 to 30 years instead of the 25 years previously established. Also, the merging of the categories into a total of four and the increase in the amount of the prizes that will be awarded in each modality.
Proposals in Creative Writing and Graphic Arts
The councilor explained that proposals can be submitted in the creative writing showcases, which this edition opens to other formats such as haikus, song lyrics or texts on social networks. Also in graphic arts, which includes drawing, photography, sculpture, poster design, marketing, brand creation and audiovisual projects, among others.
Music and Performing Arts and Visual Arts
And in the showcases of music and performing arts, which this edition are combined into a single category, and visual arts, in which the creation of video clips, reels or tiktoks is added. The first prize will be endowed with 1,000 euros, the second with 500 euros and the third with 300 euros.
Jury Evaluation and Final Gala
Once the registration period is closed, evaluations will begin by a jury made up of experts and the competition will end with a gala that will be held after the summer.
