Mari Carmen Medina Triumphs in “Tierra de Talento”

Mari Carmen Medina, a native of Marbella, delivered a stellar performance during the second night of challenges on Canal Sur’s program “Tierra de Talento”. The special episode was a tribute to the late singer Bambino. Medina emerged as the winner and has now advanced to the semi-finals.

Medina’s Winning Performance

Medina performed the song “Procuro olvidarte”, earning the maximum five stars from the jury. The special edition of “Tierra de Talento” aired on Saturday, paying homage to the Utrera artist Miguel Vargas Jiménez, known as “Bambino”. The show featured artists such as Falete, Manuel Lombo, Maui de Utrera, and Manuel de Angustias, marking 25 years since Bambino’s passing.

Jury Praises Medina’s Talent

At just 22 years old, the singer impressed the jury, who unanimously awarded her five stars before her performance even concluded. Falete commented that while perfection doesn’t exist, truth does, and what Medina did on stage was genuine. Manuel Lombo praised her confidence on stage, her sweetness, and her clear direction. Antonio Canales also lauded her performance, congratulating her on her immense talent. Mariola Cantarero described the performance as elegant, exquisite, and beautiful, praising Medina’s control over her voice.

Medina’s Next Challenge

For the semi-finals, Medina will be performing the song “Grease”. Her journey in “Tierra de Talento” continues, and she is now one step closer to the grand finale.
