Club Escalada Marbella was well represented across various categories, contributing to the win of five gold medals. The club provided nine walkers to the Andalusian team, while CD Vuelando contributed one athlete.

Sofía Lobato: Spain’s Champion in the Children’s Category

Sofía Lobato from Marbella was declared the champion of Spain in the children’s category. Her victory was a significant contribution to Andalusia’s overall success in the championship.

Andalusia’s Shining Performance at Cabo da Gata

The Spanish Autonomous Teams Championship, held at Cabo da Gata in Almería, saw a strong presence from Marbella. Andalusia shone brightly, winning gold in the women’s category and bronze in the female category.

The Andalusian male team, which included Juan Carlos Cabello, Francisco Cruz, Óscar Rueda from CEM Marbella, and Kike Villanueva from CD Vuelando, secured victory for the third consecutive year. Four of their runners were among the top six finishers.

Strong Representation from CEM Marbella in the Women’s Category

In the women’s category, the team also had a significant representation from CEM Marbella, including Sara Dabrio, Esther Muóz, and Lola Gallego. The Andalusian female team secured the bronze medal.

Young Andalusians Shine in Various Categories

Young athletes from CEM Marbella also shone brightly, securing the first position in various categories alongside their autonomous teammates. Lucas Gámez contributed to the victory in the cadet category, while Iris Morales did the same in the female cadet team. In the female children’s category, the victory went to Andalusia, thanks to Sofía Lobato.

CEM Marbella’s Success in the Individual School Age Championship

In the Individual School Age Championship (CADEBA), CEM Marbella can boast of having a champion like Sofía Lobato in the children’s category and two national runner-ups in the cadet category, Lucas Gámez and Iris Morales.
