Third Solidarity Walk Race to Benefit AVOI
The third Solidarity Walk Race, organized by CD Veterans of Culture and Infinity Marbella, will take place on Saturday, April 20th. The event aims to raise funds for the Association of Child Oncology Volunteers of Malaga (AVOI). This year’s project is to take 70 children from the Malaga pediatric oncology ward on the Camino de Santiago.
Annual Event for a Noble Cause
This is the third year that CD Veterans of Culture and Infinity Marbella have organized the Solidarity Walk Race to benefit AVOI. The event, which will take place in Marbella, is one of the most important charity events of the year. Registration is still open and will continue until Friday, April 19th at 2:00 PM.
Event Details and Activities
The event will kick off with children’s races starting at 10:00 AM on Mar Avenue. The adult races will begin at 11:30 AM from Alameda Walk. The registration fee for children is seven euros and for adults, it’s ten euros. After the race, there will be fun activities including a performance by Mimosín and a magic show, as well as a Disney music show by María del Carmen Medina.
Afternoon Entertainment and Fundraising
In the afternoon, starting at 5:00 PM, there will be musical performances for adults and workshops for children, including a tennis clinic among other activities. There will also be a charity bar and live performances by rock bands, with ‘Los Calvin’ headlining the event.
Event’s Goal
The goal of this year’s Solidarity Walk Race is to take 70 children from the Malaga pediatric oncology ward on the Camino de Santiago at the end of June.
