HC Marbella International Hospital Doubles Capacity with New Building
HC Marbella International Hospital has significantly increased its capacity by inaugurating a new building. The additional structure, spanning over 1,000 square metres, will enable the hospital to double its patient intake, enhancing its medical care and hospital admissions.
State-of-the-Art Facilities and Exclusive Rooms
The new building is equipped with cutting-edge technology and equipment. It also houses 14 exclusive rooms, designed to offer the utmost comfort and convenience to patients and their companions. The design of the building incorporates large openings, allowing natural light to flood in and providing a connection with the outdoor gardens, thereby enhancing the daily experience of patients and staff.
Advanced Nursing Station and Digitalised Transfusion Process
The new nursing station is equipped with advanced features such as single-dose medication trolleys, enabling precise and organised management of drugs. The hospital has also introduced digitalisation of the transfusion process, which includes registration and traceability of transfusions, patient and nurse sampling, and downloading of vital signs via PDA.
Quick Access to Expanded Surgical Unit
The new infrastructure is connected to the main hospital building, providing swift access to the surgical unit. The surgical unit has been expanded with the addition of two endoscopy rooms for minimally invasive procedures. This close proximity allows for efficient coordination between different medical units and facilitates immediate performance of radiological and laboratory diagnostic tests.
