FC Marbellí’s Decisive Match in the Final Stretch of the Season

FC Marbellí faced another crucial match this round in the final stretch of the season, seeking a spot in the promotion playoffs and aiming for the top spot, which would be decisive in case of ties in the playoffs.

Yiyi’s Early Goal Sets the Tone

Five minutes into the game, Yiyi received a good long ball from Miguel Rubio and after dodging a defender inside the box, he beat the visiting goalkeeper with his shot. This was the first goal for the home team.

Yiyi and Juanpe Extend the Lead

Minutes later, Yiyi had another good chance to score but it wasn’t until the 15th minute that the scoreboard moved again. Juanpe received a pass from Asencio inside the box and scored with a cross shot.

Red Cards Change the Course of the Game

Amid the threat of a scuffle and with a lot of nervousness from the Campillos players and coaching staff, the referee decided to retreat to the locker rooms and halt the match. The game was stopped for 15 minutes and after resumption, the match went to half-time with a 2-0 lead for Marbellí.
