Where was Culpa Tuya (Your Fault) filmed? The locations confirmed by public film-office records are Málaga city and Madrid. Málaga Film Office names the city’s cruise terminal, while Film Madrid lists Madrid and El Cañaveral. The official sources checked for this update do not identify Marbella as a Culpa Tuya location. Marbella is, however, an officially listed location for the first film, Culpa Mía (My Fault).
The trilogy was filmed across several parts of Spain. That is why online answers that reduce all three films to “Marbella” or “the Costa del Sol” are incomplete.

“Málaga” can mean either the city or the wider province. The table keeps that distinction because Marbella and Torremolinos are separate municipalities within Málaga province, while Sotogrande is in Cádiz province.
Where was My Fault filmed in Spain?
The first Spanish film, Culpa Mía, used the widest officially documented spread of locations in the trilogy. The Film Madrid Region catalogue lists Málaga, Torremolinos, Marbella, Puerto Sotogrande and Madrid.
This is the clearest official basis for connecting the Culpables films with Marbella. It also shows why “filmed in Marbella” is only part of the answer: the production moved between the Costa del Sol, neighbouring Cádiz province and Madrid.
Where was Your Fault filmed?
Culpa Tuya was filmed in both southern and central Spain. Málaga Film Office records the Terminal de Cruceros, or cruise terminal, as a Málaga location for the production. Film Madrid Region separately lists Madrid and El Cañaveral.
Málaga Film Office’s 2023 production review says that Culpa Tuya and Culpa Nuestra were among the feature films made partly or wholly in Málaga city that year. This answers another common question: Culpa Tuya was shot during 2023, before its Prime Video release in December 2024.
We have not found a public film-office record naming Marbella for Culpa Tuya. Until a production record or location manager confirms otherwise, images or scenes should not be assigned to Marbella solely because they resemble the Costa del Sol.
Where was Our Fault filmed?
Culpa Nuestra, the final film, was also recorded in Málaga during 2023, according to Málaga Film Office. The office’s individual production page confirms the film, director Domingo González and principal cast, but it does not publish a complete location list.
One prominent location has been identified independently. El País reported after the film’s 2025 release that the wedding scenes presented as Ibiza were actually filmed at SO/ Sotogrande, across the provincial boundary in Cádiz. This is a useful reminder that the location shown in the story and the place used by the production are not always the same.
Was the whole trilogy filmed in Marbella?
No. Marbella is confirmed for Culpa Mía, but the public records show a multi-location production footprint. Málaga city, Torremolinos, Sotogrande, Madrid and El Cañaveral all form part of the verified answer across the three films.
The earlier version of this article described Culpa Tuya as a Marbella production without separating confirmed locations from visual inference. This update corrects that distinction.
Can fans visit the filming locations?
Some broad locations—Marbella, central Málaga, Torremolinos and Sotogrande—are normal visitor destinations. That does not mean every set is open to the public. The cruise terminal is an operating port facility, and villas, hotel areas or roads may be private, restricted or in active use.
Visit only public areas, follow signs and staff instructions, and do not enter private property in search of a scene. There is no official Culpables visitor trail in the sources reviewed.
Is Our Fault available to watch in 2026?
Yes. Prime Video released Culpa Nuestra on 16 October 2025 as the final chapter after Culpa Mía and Culpa Tuya. In February 2026, Amazon said the three Spanish-language films had collectively reached more than 100 million viewers worldwide. That audience figure is Amazon’s own platform statement, not an independently audited cinema box-office total.
