Malaga's iconic El Pimpi gets ready to open in Marbella

Expansion of Dining Experiences at Puente Romano Beach Resort

Puente Romano Beach Resort in Marbella is set to enhance its culinary offerings with the addition of three new restaurants, each presenting a unique type of cuisine. The first of these, El Pimpi, is scheduled to open its doors at the start of May.

El Pimpi: A Taste of Malaga’s Iconic Bodega

This marks the first expansion of the iconic bodega from Malaga city, which has been serving patrons since 1971. The establishment, managed by Pepe Cobos and Paco Campos, remains under the ownership of the Cobos family, along with actor Antonio Banderas and Pablo Gonzalo.

Chanca by COYA: A Peruvian-Inspired Dining Experience

Joining the lineup is Chanca by COYA, a successor to Coya Marbella that opened last year. The restaurant promises an immersive Peruvian-inspired dining experience, with a carefully curated décor contributing to the sophisticated ambiance. As the night falls, Chanca by COYA transforms into a hub for music and party enthusiasts, marking a new chapter in Marbella’s nightlife scene, according to COYA Group Global COO Yannis Stanisiere.

Gaia Marbella: A Tribute to Greek-Mediterranean Cuisine

The third addition to the dining experiences at Puerto Romano Beach Resort is Gaia Marbella, which is already welcoming guests. The restaurant’s name is a nod to a goddess from Greek mythology, and the menu follows suit. Chefs Izu Ani and Orestis Kotefas serve Greek-Mediterranean dishes such as whole sea bream carpaccio, wood-fired roast kid, and Kritharaki Orzo seafood pasta, among others.

NYX Marbella: Handcrafted Cocktails to Round Off the Experience

The dining experience is completed with NYX Marbella, where guests can savor handcrafted cocktails. Gaia offers a unique concept, providing a ‘home from home’ experience to guests on every visit and in every city. Fundamental Hospitality president Evgeny Kuzin expressed pride in presenting their ‘made in Dubai’ concept in Marbella. The group currently operates restaurants in London, Monte Carlo, Doha, and Dubai, with Marbella being its first venture in Spain.
