Collaborative Audiovisual Project Analyzes Marbella’s Current Affairs

This audiovisual project, which was launched in 2022, is a collaboration between two television stations, M95TV and 7TV, and digital platforms Marbella Hoy and Marbella24horas. The aim is to critically and courageously analyze the political, economic, and cultural news of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara every Monday, with the participation of various panelists.

This Week’s Panelists and Topics

This week’s edition, moderated by Ignacio Reyes, will feature a panel composed of lawyer Julia Mediavilla, activist Carmen Varo, and journalists José Antonio Medina and Juan Carlos Angulo. The debate will be broadcasted at 21:00 on 7TV and from 22:30 on M95TV. It will also be available on the Marbella24horas YouTube channel.

Discussion Topics Include Opium Case and Sports Facilities

The program will begin with an analysis of the Opium case, which involves alleged irregularities and disturbances caused by this nightclub, a legal case that has been closed by the judge. The panel will then discuss the issue with motorhomes in the municipality and the decision to create a regulatory ordinance.

Debate on New Sports Facilities and Puerto Banús Concession

A segment on sports facilities will follow, focusing on the new Marbella stadium and urban changes, as well as the new karate tent in Río Huelo. The Puerto Banús concession will also be a topic of debate. The program will conclude by highlighting that the City Council has removed the last signs containing the word “disabled”.
