Marbella’s Holy Week Brotherhoods Ready for 2024

The leaders of the ten brotherhoods of Marbella’s Holy Week are all set for the 2024 Holy Week, which will feature eleven processions on the streets between Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 31. This year, the big news is that the Virgin of Amargura will debut as a brotherhood, the tenth in the city, after having paraded for over two decades as a youth group and parish association.

Procession Schedules and Routes for Marbella’s Holy Week 2024

Here are the schedules, starting points, and routes of the processions for Marbella’s Holy Week 2024, eleven in total, which will traverse the streets between March 23 and 31. The only day without parades is Holy Saturday.

Passion Saturday (March 23)

The Brotherhood of Our Lady of Amargura and Saint Anthony of Padua in Marbella will start at 18:30 from the Parish of the Incarnation. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Palm Sunday (March 24)

The Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Mercy at His Entry into Jerusalem and Virgin of Peace and Hope will start at 17:00 from the Parish of the Incarnation. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Holy Monday (March 25)

The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Vera Cruz, Holy Christ Tied to the Column and White Virgin will start at 20:30 from the Hermitage of the Holy Christ. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Holy Tuesday (March 26)

The Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Captive, Most Holy Mary of the Incarnation, Saint Martha, Saint Lazarus, and Mary will start at 21:00 from the Parish of the Incarnation. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Holy Wednesday (March 27)

The Royal, Illustrious, Venerable, and Ancient Sacramental Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene, Virgin of the Greatest Pain and Holy Sepulcher will start at 20:30 from the Parish of the Incarnation. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Maundy Thursday (March 28)

The Very Illustrious, Venerable, and Fervent Brotherhood of Nazarenes and Salesian Brotherhood of Worship and Procession of the Most Holy Christ of the Exaltation, Virgin of Calvary, and Saint John the Evangelist will start at 17:30 from the Hermitage of Calvary. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Good Friday (March 29)

The Royal, Illustrious, Venerable, and Ancient Sacramental Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene, Virgin of the Greatest Pain and Holy Sepulcher will start at 21:00 from the Holy Sepulcher (Brotherhood House). The procession will follow a specific route through the city.

Easter Sunday (March 31)

The Most Holy Christ Resurrected, Virgin of Victory, and Saint John the Evangelist will start after the 10:00 mass from the Parish of the Incarnation. The procession will follow a specific route through the city.
