Poland’s Most Dangerous Fugitive Arrested in Spain
One of Poland’s most notorious fugitives, facing a potential 50-year prison sentence for his alleged crimes, has been apprehended in Marbella, a city on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The man is sought after in his native Poland for his alleged participation in firearm and explosives trafficking, drug trafficking, and membership in a criminal organization. The General Commissariat has stated that he could face over 50 years in prison if convicted.
International Investigation Leads to Arrest
A Spanish police investigation was initiated in late 2023 after Polish authorities alerted them about a wanted man who had escaped their grasp. After several months of thorough investigation, Spanish officers discovered that the fugitive had established a new life in Marbella under a false identity.
Fugitive Alters Appearance to Evade Capture
In an attempt to evade capture, the fugitive underwent surgery to alter his physical appearance and had his tattoos removed, according to police investigators. He also frequently changed his residence, vehicle, and even his living location to avoid detection.
Surveillance Operation Leads to Arrest
Upon locating his residence in Marbella, National Police officers initiated a surveillance operation on the wanted man. He was arrested on the street as soon as he left his house to run errands.

According to Polish authorities, the man was one of the most wanted and dangerous fugitives in Poland. A Kalashnikov assault rifle and a smooth-bore rifle were confiscated in his home country.
