Fatal Traffic Accident on A-7 in Marbella
In a tragic turn of events, an unidentified individual lost their life in a vehicular accident on the A-7 in Marbella. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 14th February 2024, as reported by the 112 Andalucía emergency services coordination centre.
Details of the Accident
The accident took place at kilometre 1055, heading towards Estepona, at approximately 1.45am. The 112 emergency services received a distress call about a vehicle that had overturned and collided with the crash barrier.
Emergency Response and Outcome
Upon receiving the call, immediate medical assistance was dispatched for a severely injured individual. An intensive care ambulance, along with the Guardia Civil traffic police and the Marbella fire brigade, were promptly sent to the accident site. Despite their best efforts, the medical team was unable to save the life of the victim.
