Two Ukrainian Men Arrested Following Bar Brawl in San Pedro Alcántara
In a recent incident, the National Police apprehended two Ukrainian men, aged 37 and 25, for their alleged participation in a bar fight in San Pedro Alcántara. The bar owner is accused of stabbing one of the men in the arm during the altercation, which took place around 4.25am on Sunday, 12 May.
Emergency Services Respond to Violent Incident
A bystander alerted emergency services, stating that a man and a woman had assaulted another man, resulting in facial injuries. Upon arrival, police discovered two injured individuals, one of whom had a stab wound on his arm. The injury was reportedly inflicted by the bar owner using a kitchen knife, which was later confiscated by the police. The bar owner was also found with facial injuries and a broken nose.
Medical Attention Provided, Investigation Underway
Both injured parties received medical treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries and were subsequently arrested for their involvement in the fight. The incident has prompted a police investigation. Preliminary theories suggest that the brawl may have been triggered by a failed negotiation.
Another Stabbing Incident in Torremolinos
In a separate incident last week, a 38-year-old man was left quadriplegic following a stabbing in Torremolinos. The man was stabbed in the back of his neck and was immediately rushed to the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, which specializes in treating spinal injuries.
Town Hall Workers Discover Victim, Suspect Arrested
The incident occurred around 7am on 9 May in Calle Marqués de Salamanca, near Bajondillo. Town hall workers discovered the man bleeding heavily from his neck, with a friend attempting to cover the wound. The victim and the suspect had reportedly had a fight near a bar in the La Nogalera area. They allegedly encountered each other again in Calle Marqués de Salamanca, where the stabbing occurred. The suspect, who fled the scene in a taxi, was later apprehended by a National Police patrol and is currently under investigation for attempted murder.
