Carlos Vives, Paula Mattheus, and Marlon Join Starlite Marbella 2024 Lineup

The Starlite Occident festival has confirmed two more concerts for its upcoming summer lineup in Marbella. The king of vallenato, Colombian Carlos Vives, is set to return to the stage at the Cantera de Nagüeles, where he performed two years ago. Sharing the stage on the same night will be the band Marlon and rising star Paula Mattheus.

Starlite Marbella Occident Continues to Expand its Lineup

The 13th edition of Starlite Occident continues to fill its lineup, with two more dates and three performances just announced, two of which will take place on the same night. Following his successful performance at the 2022 edition, Colombian artist Carlos Vives will return to the festival, delighting audiences with hits such as “La gota fría”, “Fruta fresca”, and “La Bicicleta”. Vives, who will perform on Tuesday, July 16, is one of the most representative figures of Latin music and has created a new sound from the traditional music of the Caribbean coast and northern Colombia. With over 20 million albums sold worldwide, he is considered a pioneer of the new Colombian and Latin American sound.

Paula Mattheus and Marlon to Bring Pop Energy to Starlite Occident

On Thursday, August 15, Starlite Marbella Occident will host a night filled with the best pop energy, courtesy of Paula Mattheus and Marlon. Paula Mattheus is here to stay and bring a fresh new vibe to Spanish pop with her unique, broken, and sweet voice. Her latest album “Mi concierto en el balcón” includes songs like ‘La Hipoteca’ ft Rozalén, ‘Tocado y Hundido’, ‘Efímera’ ft David Otero, ‘¿Para qué?’ ft Despistaos, ‘Valientes de sofá’ ft Ciudad Jara or the focus track ‘Cuando te Olvides de Mi’. The Asturian band Marlon has become one of the references of the national music scene. After the success of their albums “Cosas que no se pagan con dinero” and “MARLON”, Adrián Roma, Juan Fernández, and Jorge Diéguez have released their new album “Que se caiga el cielo”, which includes songs like “Caos”, “Olvide? olvidarte” or “Pirata”.
