Nota Blu New Brassiere was in competition with 1,130 other candidates from 61 countries worldwide. The restaurant, located on Camino de la Cruz, was evaluated by a panel of 40 experts from the hotel, design, and lifestyle sectors.
Spanish Winners at the Design Awards
The restaurant was one of only two Spanish winners at the awards. The other winner was Boavan, a venue in Valencia, which won in the ‘colour’ category.

Nota Blu was praised for its exceptional fusion of architectural elements that create a unique environment for enjoying gastronomy. The modern design incorporates natural stone, wood, and the blue of the Mediterranean, reflecting a balance between tradition and the avant-garde.
Design by Barcelona Based Astet Studio
The restaurant was designed by Astet Studio, based in Barcelona. The designers aimed to create a cozy, sophisticated, and fresh space. They were also responsible for the design of Leña, a Marbella venue that won ‘best overall restaurant’ in 2021.
Exclusive Sculptures and Eye-Catching Christmas Tree
The venue is known for its exclusive sculptures by South African artist Joseph Klibansky. This Christmas, the restaurant features an eye-catching tree designed by artist Manuel Espejo in collaboration with Ruinart. The ‘upside down Christmas tree’ is composed of golden bubbles, adding to the venue’s luxurious ambiance.
International Accolades for Newly Opened Restaurant
Despite only opening in October 2022, the restaurant has already received international accolades. They serve traditional French food with a modern twist, under the guidance of chef Fabian Cangas.
