High-Speed Chase in Marbella Ends in Dramatic Crash
In a high-speed chase along the A-7 near Marbella, a 35-year-old man was arrested following a dramatic car crash. The man allegedly rammed a police car in an attempt to evade a roadside test.
Reckless Driver Arrested After Damaging Multiple Vehicles
The driver sped towards the town of San Pedro Alcantara, reaching speeds of 150 kilometres per hour on a road with a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour. His reckless driving resulted in damage to several vehicles, including the complete shattering of one car’s windscreen.
Chase Ends in Collision with Police Car
The chase concluded near Puerto Banus when the driver, now without a vehicle roof, entered a dead-end road. Upon seeing another police car blocking his path, he accelerated and collided head-on with the patrol car. The collision resulted in injuries to both officers in the patrol car and left the driver trapped in his own vehicle.
Driver Arrested for Reckless Driving and DUI
After being freed from his vehicle by the police officers, the man was arrested for reckless driving. He was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after testing positive in a breathalyser test.
