Darth Vader Masked Assailant Stabs Rent Collector in Broad Daylight
In a shocking incident on Spain’s Costa del Sol, a rent collector was stabbed in broad daylight by an assailant wearing a Darth Vader mask. The attacker made off with €80,000. The victim was in the process of collecting rent from various shops in the Plaza Mayor shopping centre when the attack occurred.
Details of the Attack
The incident took place around 11.30am on December 21. The victim had just completed his rounds and was returning to his motorbike when he discovered that the tyre had been punctured. It was at this moment that the attacker, wearing a Darth Vader mask, ambushed him from behind. The assailant stabbed the victim in the lumbar area and made off with the money.
Escape of the Assailant
A second individual on another motorbike was waiting nearby. The masked assailant quickly jumped on the bike, and the pair sped away from the scene. The victim, who suffered a 5cm wound close to his spine, had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Investigation Underway
The National Police are currently investigating the armed robbery. As of the time of reporting, the Malaga central police station has not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
