Unsettling Shootings in Spain’s Resort Town
In a shocking turn of events, two separate shootings have occurred within a span of 24 hours in a tranquil resort town on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The local police are currently investigating the incidents.
Stray Bullet Hits Luxury Car Showroom
The first incident took place around 2pm on Wednesday in San Pedro de Alcantara. A stray bullet hit a vehicle parked outside a high-end car showroom. Another bullet was discharged from a car that was chasing another vehicle. The incident, which occurred outside Calle de Salamanca, fortunately did not result in any injuries.
Irishman Injured in Separate Shooting
The second shooting incident occurred just a day prior. A 24-year-old Irishman was shot in the side around 6pm on Tuesday. The incident took place in an area known as Turtle Lake, situated above the Aloha Golf Course.
Marbella Police Investigate Stray Bullet Incident
The Marbella police are currently investigating the incident where a stray bullet hit a vehicle in San Pedro. The location of the incident, a small picturesque lake in the northern part of the upscale residential area of Nueva Andalucia, is a popular day trip destination for local schools. It is a short drive from Marbella town centre and the glamorous Puerto Banus.
Victim Reaches Hospital, No Arrests Yet
The victim of the shooting managed to reach a hospital either by himself or with the help of another individual, as per the police. The specialized anti-gang crime unit officers are yet to make any arrests in connection with the shootings.
