Dani Carrasco Núñez Called Up for Spanish U16 Team
Dani Carrasco Núñez has been selected to join the Spanish U16 team. The Sampedreño, Daniel Carrasco, who plays for Unicaja de Málaga, will participate in the Spanish U16 team’s training camp taking place this Easter in Íscar, Valladolid. The aim is to prepare for the European Championship in the category, which will be held in Greece in August.
Good News for Local Basketball
This is great news for the local basketball scene as Daniel Carrasco Núñez from Sampedreño gets a call from the national U16 team. Standing at 1.89 meters, he plays as a point guard for the Unicaja cadet team. Before moving to Málaga, he was part of the San Pedro Basketball Club. His progress has been excellent and now he gets the opportunity to debut with the Spanish team at the training camp in Valladolid.
Technical Team Selects 16 Players
The technical team has called up 16 players to start forming the group that will participate in the upcoming U16 European Championship. The training camp will start on Monday, March 25, and they will play two preparation matches against Poland on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.

Spanish Team Prepares for European Championship
The Spanish team is preparing for the European Championship in Heraklion, Greece, where they will defend their 2023 title. They will play the first phase in Group A alongside Turkey, Latvia, and Finland starting from August 9.
