16-year-old Marbella-born pilot, Jesus Rios, took a new step in his evolution by making his debut in the FIM Junior GP World Championship this season. This championship will take him through circuits in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. After two years in the European Talent Cup, he continues his journey with the MRE Talent team.

Jesus Rios Maldonado continues to evolve in the world of motorcycling, firmly establishing himself as one of the best young pilots on the national and international scene. This year, 2024, he takes another step forward and will compete in the FIM JuniorGP Moto3 World Championship. This is the last step before reaching the absolute World Championship.
Marbella’s Jesus Rios Excited for New Category and Continuity with MRE Talent Team
The Marbella native is “very excited” about moving to this new category and also about his continuity in the MRE Talent team. Jesus Rios made his international debut in 2022 with his first appearance in the European Talent Cup, where he finished tenth overall.
Jesus Rios’ Continuity in the European Talent Cup
In 2023, he continued in the same competition, where he achieved a “pole” and climbed the podium three times. He was sixth overall and the third-best Spanish. The calendar for this 2024 in the JuniorGP World Championship consists of 12 races on 7 circuits between April 21 and November 24. The Marbella native will pass through Misano (Italy), Estoril (Portugal), Barcelona, Algarve (Portugal), Jerez, Aragon, and Valencia.

Jesus Rios has also been the champion of Spain in the Stock600 (2023), PreMoto3 (2022), and Promo3 (2021) categories.
