Pedro Casablanc and Carles Sans to Perform in San Pedro Alcántara
Pedro Casablanc, known for his role in the series Los Farad, and Carles Sans, the only remaining member of Tricicle, will be performing in San Pedro Alcántara. The CAE La Alcoholera in San Pedro Alcántara will host a variety of theatre, music, puppetry, and marionette shows until May. Singer María Villalón is also part of the lineup.
14 Varied, Quality, and Affordable Shows
Javier García, the deputy mayor of San Pedro, presented the venue’s schedule today, which includes 14 varied, quality, and affordable shows. He emphasized the city’s commitment to fostering a passion for performing arts among children and adults alike.
Three Musical Events, Seven Adult Plays, and Four Puppet Shows
The first half of the year will feature three musical events, seven plays for adults, and four shows as part of the IV Festival of Puppets and Marionettes of San Pedro Alcántara. Tickets, ranging from 4 to 15 euros with discounts for young and 65 cardholders, can be purchased at www.mientrada.net or at the box office two hours before the start of the show.
February Performances
On February 3, Carles Sans, former member of Tricicle, will perform his work ‘¡Por fin solo!’, directed by José Corbacho. On February 24, Morboria Teatro will present ‘Los enredos de Scapin’, by Moliere. On February 27, singer María Villalón will perform ‘Tratado de paz’, a tribute to the Active Participation Centers of San Pedro Alcántara.
March to May Performances
From March to May, the venue will host a variety of performances, including the children’s show ‘Invisible’ by Voilà Producciones, ‘Maui. Domingos de vermut y potajes’ by the Sevillian singer Maui, and the ‘Cover Festival’ by the Cultural Association El Aula & MaloMalo Entertainment.
May Performances
May will kick off with ‘¡Ay pera, perita, pera’, a show by Cazando Gamusinos as part of the IV Festival of Puppets and Marionettes of San Pedro. ‘El viento es salvaje’, by Las Niñas de Cádiz, which won the Best New Show Award at the 2020 Max Awards, will also be performed. The program will conclude on May 31 with Pedro Casablanc’s performance of ‘Don Ramón María del Valle Inclán a través de Ramón Gómez de la Serna’, a musical show accompanied by pianist Mario Molina, combining Beethoven’s music with the cuplé and zarzuela of the time.
