Serial Offender Detained by Policia Nacional in Alicante
A notorious thief, with a record of 20 previous arrests, has been apprehended by the Policia Nacional in Alicante. The 33-year-old female offender has been on the run, with eight court warrants issued against her.
Multiple Courts Involved in the Case
The case involves six different courts, with two warrants each issued in Alcoy and Torrevieja. The remaining courts involved are located in Benidorm, Marbella, Santander, and Teruel. The crimes committed by the woman span from 2017 to the previous year.
Identity Fraud Aids in Evasion
The fugitive managed to evade capture by using three different identities, allowing her to hide across Spain. Despite being repeatedly bailed by courts, she continued to reoffend. The Policia Nacional revealed that the woman is of Romanian nationality, but did not disclose further details about the nature of the thefts.
Previous Incidents of Serial Theft
This is not the first instance of serial theft in the region. A car thief with a record of 125 arrests was recently jailed in Alicante. Additionally, a thief in Benidorm went on a spree, targeting restaurant cash registers in the Costa Blanca area of Spain.
