Art for Freedom Showcases Diverse Ukrainian Talent
The ‘Art for Freedom’ exhibition will feature a diverse range of art forms, including painting, graphic design, photography, and sculpture. The works on display have been created by 15 Ukrainian artists, some of whom are currently residing in occupied territories or in the war-ravaged city of Kyiv.
Reflection of Tragic Events in Art
According to curator Svitlana Starostenko, the works of art on display are a reflection of the tragic events that have unfolded in Ukraine. Despite the challenges, Starostenko notes that Ukrainian artists, whether in Ukraine or scattered across the globe, have not stopped creating.
International Support for Ukrainian Artists
The exhibition has received support from Future for Ukraine, an international charitable foundation established by ten Ukrainian women. The foundation’s mission is to provide support to the victims of the war. Starostenko expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Spain, a country known for its rich artistic heritage.
