What to include
Provide the article URL, the specific statement you believe is inaccurate, why it is wrong and a reliable source where possible. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information. We may ask for further evidence before changing a published item.
Review process
The publisher reviews the original sources, the new evidence and the public-interest impact. We aim to acknowledge a correction request within five working days. Complex requests may take longer, but a request is not rejected simply because it concerns sponsored content or an advertiser.
How corrections appear
When a material error is confirmed, the article is corrected, its update date is changed where appropriate and a correction note is added when readers could otherwise be misled. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a note. Material correction decisions are recorded so the publication can explain what changed and why.
Correction correspondence is handled under the Privacy Policy. Payment never prevents a correction or guarantees favourable coverage.
