Marbella Verde Association Steps Up After Arboretum Foundation Disbands
In the wake of the Arboretum Foundation’s dissolution, a new organization, Marbella Verde Association, has emerged with a plan to involve more community members in its urban allotment scheme. The newly formed organic gardening group has taken the reins, assuming control of the 87 allotments previously under the foundation’s management.
Marbella Verde Collaborates with Local Charities
In addition to managing the allotments, Marbella Verde is also partnering with several local charities. Among these are Debra, Piel de Mariposa (Butterfly Skin), and Avoi, a volunteer association dedicated to supporting children battling cancer. These collaborations underscore Marbella Verde’s commitment to not only promoting organic gardening but also supporting the local community in various ways.
