Marbella Arena Unveils Exciting Summer Concert Lineup
Marbella Arena has recently announced an eclectic lineup of summer concerts and shows, set to take place in the town’s historic bullring in Puerto Banús. The event, dubbed Fiesta Marbella Arena, promises a diverse range of performances from top national and international stars across various musical genres throughout August and September.
World-Class DJs and Iconic Music Shows
The festival’s program includes performances from renowned house-music DJs from around the globe, as well as shows dedicated to iconic movie music and stand-up comedy. The festivities will commence on 7 August with the Arena of Dreams show, featuring Centreforce 883 and Clockwork Orange. The night promises a lively mix of house and disco music, with a lineup of DJs and musicians from the UK.
Nancy Ajram’s Debut Spanish Performance
One of the best-selling artists in Arab pop history, Nancy Ajram, is set to perform her first concert in Spain on 8 August. Known as the ‘Beyoncé of the Middle East’, Ajram’s illustrious two-decade career has seen her release ten albums and top the charts multiple times in the Middle East and North Africa.
UK Boy Band Blue and Other Performances
The following night will feature the Generation Music Event, headlined by one of the UK’s most popular boy bands, Blue. The four-piece group, who have sold over 15 million records worldwide and topped the UK singles chart thrice, will be joined on stage by English singer Chesney Hawkes. The event will also feature a performance by Norwegian hip hop duo Madcon.
Pete Tong’s Mainland Spain Debut
Popular British DJ Pete Tong is set to make his debut in mainland Spain on 10 August with Ibiza Classics, a show featuring variations of classic house music. The show, which includes the Essential Orchestra, has been hailed as an “incredible experience”.
Comedy and More Music in September
The month of September will kick off with a performance by British stand-up comedian, actor, and television presenter Jimmy Carr on 31 August. Russian rap singer Morgenshten will also perform in Marbella as part of his current European tour on 3 September. Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy will return to the Marbella bullring on 20 September as part of their 30th-anniversary tour.
Festival Supports Local Charities
The festival also aims to raise funds and awareness for local charities and associations, including Hogar Betania, Collective Calling, the Triple A animal shelter in Marbella, and the Puerto Banús branch of the Rotary Club.
