San Pedro Volleyball’s Youth Team Celebrates Qualification for CADEBA
The San Pedro Volleyball Club has successfully qualified two of its male teams for the Andalusian School Age Championship (CADEBA). The cadets were runners-up in the provincial league, while the youth team secured third place in the ‘final four’ held last Sunday at the Serrano Lima pavilion in Marbella.

San Pedro Volleyball continues to reap success, having qualified two of its male teams for CADEBA, both in the cadet and youth categories. This past weekend, the ‘final four’ in the male youth category was held at the Serrano Lima pavilion in Marbella, featuring the top four teams from the league.
IES Nueva Andalucía San Pedro Volleyball’s Performance
The IES Nueva Andalucía San Pedro Volleyball team, which had finished fourth in the regular league, faced off against the top team, Costa del Voley, in the semi-finals. The Marbella team won 3-0, forcing the San Pedro team to compete for third place.
San Pedro Volleyball’s Victory Over Cártama
In the match for third place, San Pedro Volleyball put on a great performance against Cártama, who had finished second in the league with only two losses to Costa, and defeated them 3-2 in a nail-biting match. This victory brought great joy to San Pedro Volleyball, who celebrated their qualification for CADEBA in grand style.
San Pedro Volleyball’s Cadet Team’s Success
This success adds to that of the club’s male cadet team, which had already qualified for the Andalusian Championship a week earlier. In this case, there was no ‘final four’, but a ‘play-off’ in which San Pedro Volleyball secured the provincial runners-up title.
Upcoming CADEBA Championships
The male cadet CADEBA will be held in Seville from April 11 to 14, while the male youth championship will take place from April 25 to 28 in Huelva.
San Pedro Volleyball’s Female Youth and Senior Teams’ Performance
The female youth team of San Pedro Volleyball secured third place in the provincial league and are waiting to see if there might be a spot available for them in the Andalusian Championship. The men’s senior team of the 2nd Andalusian division finished the season in third place, just missing out on the ‘play-off’. The women’s senior team of the 2nd Andalusian division finished in fourth place in the league.
