Changes in Marbella Football
There are new changes in the coaching staff in Marbella football. Atlético Marbella Paraíso has chosen Chechu Rodríguez to take over the senior team after agreeing to dismiss Serafín Gil last Sunday. The defeat last Saturday in the first leg of the Copa de Andalucía against Vera led the Marbella club to decide to part ways with the Ronda-based coach.
Seeking a Reaction from the Team
The white-and-sky-blue entity is looking for a reaction from a group that has been declining in recent months after having a great first half of the competition. At the helm of Atlético Marbella Paraíso is a homegrown man, Chechu Rodríguez, who also took charge of the team last season when Atlético Marbella Paraíso was going through a very delicate moment.
Chechu Rodríguez: A Man of the Club
The Marbella coach is a club man who has spent 13 seasons with the entity, with which he has achieved up to ten promotions in lower categories and this season will once again have the opportunity to try to secure a promotion with the senior team. The Marbella team is currently third in the standings, although with one less game than some of its rivals. They are also competing in the round of 16 of the Copa de Andalucía.
Chechu’s Debut on the Bench
The return match, which will be Chechu’s debut on the bench, will be this Saturday, March 30, in Almería.
